Introduction
FSMQC offers ISO 19011:2026 - Implementer as a separate implementer course. Participants study the subject modules below and apply them through the selected training track. Completion of one track does not automatically award the other tracks.
Catalogue code: I09-IMP. Contact FSMQC to confirm the course dates, entry requirements, delivery language and applicable assessment route.
Objectives
Design an audit programme, competence criteria, templates and follow-up process. Justify frequency and methods using risk and demonstrate how programme effectiveness will be reviewed.
Target Attendees
Internal auditors, programme managers and process owners. FSMQC confirms course readiness, language and learner support needs before enrolment.
Course Outlines
Module 1. Audit principles and purpose
Explain integrity, impartiality, evidence, confidentiality and risk-based judgement. Distinguish first, second and third party audits and the responsibilities of auditors and auditees.
Module 2. Managing an audit programme
Define objectives, scope, resources, competence and priorities. Consider risks and opportunities affecting the programme and select suitable audit methods and team members.
Module 3. Conducting an audit
Prepare criteria, plans and sampling; gather information through interviews, observation and document review. Evaluate evidence and communicate findings fairly within the agreed scope.
Module 4. Reporting, follow-up and competence
Prepare a clear report, review corrective action and evaluate closure evidence. Review auditor performance and development. Recognise the limitations of samples and remote methods.
Methodology
FSMQC uses instructor-led explanation, guided discussion and course-specific applied practice.
A fictional FSMQC training process audit from course planning to certificate release. Use an FSMQC authored, fictional case with sufficient facts and records for independent learner work.
Learning resources: Audit programme, plan, interview prompts, evidence log, finding and report templates. Provide a learner explanation, agenda, authorised reference access, exercise instructions and feedback.
Assessment: A knowledge check and an individual implementation portfolio assess gap analysis, proposed controls, responsibilities and monitoring. FSMQC course completion does not confer ISO certification, registered auditor status or accreditation. The licensed reference and applicable amendments control delivery. Implementer training concerns implementation of an audit programme. For the separate accredited Halal programme, retain its specified 2018 syllabus until an amendment is authorised.
